Weaponized Cowardice
The Cowardly Lion lives in a world where a talking scarecrow is considered wise, a tin man is the emotional one, and a little girl from Kansas is the most competent person in the group. And yet, despite all of that, he’s the one who asked for courage. Relatable, honestly.
This is the officially licensed Cowardly Lion costume, and it’s a full commitment. The brown low pile plush jumpsuit fastens in the back and features a faux fur collar around the neck. A tail with a faux fur tuft hangs from the back, and the foam-padded gloves and shoe covers keep their shape while the faux suede claws finish the look at every paw.
Design & Details
The curly brown wig fits with an elastic cap and is designed to recreate the specific look from the film, red bow included. The gloves and shoe covers both use elastic at the cuffs for a secure fit, and the shoe covers are designed to slide over most regular pairs of shoes so you’re not navigating the night barefoot.
The metal Courage badge sits on the chest and is the finishing detail that pulls the whole character together. It’s a small thing, but it’s the emotional core of the entire story, so wear it with the gravity it deserves.
